| Afternoon

14:30 Ar-ras
At the checkpoint there are few cars  and no specific problems. In addition to the army there was a police presence. They inspected some of the cars. While we were standing there one of the soldiers approached us and with a French accent asked us to move a stand a little further away, because according to him we were disturbing him. This was a short time before we left so we did not argue with him but we let him understand that according to us the reason for moving us was political and not pragmatic.

16:30 Anabta
Very light traffic. It seems that the cold weather deters people from leaving their houses.

The checkpoint is located south of the village of 'Anabta, at the intersection of Road 60 (leading to Nablus at the entrance to Area A), with Road (57, 557, 5576) facing west towards the Einav settlement and the checkpoint at the exit from the West Bank - Figs checkpoint. Until 2010 we used to watch the intersection and report the long columns created due to a slow inspection of the vehicles in both directions.
