‘Anabta, Ar-Ras, Wed 25.6.08, Morning

Tulkarm, Wednesday morning, 25.6.2008, E
Rina Z. Inbal R.
7.00 A-Ras. All entering Tulkarm are being checked which is not usual. Few cars so no lines. The soldiers are pleasant reervists. At Anabta there is a medium sized line about 15 cars waiting about 6 minutes. Here also the checking is in one direction but random. One of the reservists shouts to us that we are doing God's work. I am not sure that he means us but Rina says take is as it comes.

'Anabta CP The checkpoint is located south of the village of 'Anabta, at the intersection of Road 60 (leading to Nablus at the entrance to Area A), with Road (57, 557, 5576) facing west towards the Einav settlement and the checkpoint at the exit from the West Bank - Figs checkpoint. Until 2010 we used to watch the intersection and report the long columns created due to a slow inspection of the vehicles in both directions.Oct-28-2011Anabta checkpoint 24.10.11
