The road that splits from 465 towards the village Ein Yabrud opened to traffic after having been blocked for years by large rocks that had been placed by the army.

The three, like their other mates from the unit and the like the soldier's manning Atara checkpoint, have been told that the pillboxes were designed to make the Palestinians aware of the military presence, which is especially important at the exits from Ramallah.
