Local residents are also nowhere in sight.On the way to the Pishpash: A large number of people crossing from east to west through every gap in the wall and every possible yard.The Pishpash, at the entrance to the monastery: A few blue policemen staked out to apprehend passing vehicles. They check the use of security belts, if papers are in order, etc. To protect them, an army vehicle accompanies the policemen. The operation enriches the state of Israel and causes grumbling and complaining of the local residents. Sawahre: Traffic moves in a proper manner. Here and there a vehicle is detained and inspected, but only for a short while.Dvora called the chairman of the neighborhood north of Jabel Mukahber to inform him that following a conversation with the Jerusalem Foundation, the Foundation may take upon itself a new amusement park for the children. We shall follow up and hope.

A checkpoint on Jerusalem’s municipal boundary.It sits on the separation fence south of Abu Dis. The checkpoint is manned by Border Police soldiers and private security companies and operates 24 hours a day. Palestinians are forbidden to go through, other than residents of the Qunbar and Surhi families who live west of the separation fence, some of whom have blue ID cards and others have entry permits to Jerusalem. Other Palestinians, including residents of East Jerusalem, are not permitted through the checkpoint. Visitors to the families are permitted through the checkpoint only after their hosts obtain permits for them at the checkpoint.
