Deir Sharaf, Mon 13.7.09, Afternoon

Observers: Bilhah A., Ziona S. (reporting) trans. Judith Green
Jul-13-2009
| Afternoon

15:30 – Two soldiers are standing at each of the stations on either side of the road..  There is a lot of traffic and the vehicles are driving quickly.  Only very large vehicles are made to slow down where there are barriers places which make the road more narrow.  When we arrived, the soldiers stopped a car with three women in it.  The women got out of the car and presented their papers.  After 5 minutes they were allowed to continue on their way.  From time to time, the soldiers stopped cars in a random manner and asked to see papers.  We didn't see any delays beyond this.
