Etzion DCO: Why should the Palestinians be grateful?
We always ask how they manage financially. One has a brother, a doctor who works at Hadassah hospital, and helps him financially. Another has a plot on which he grows vegetables which he sells. They all want peace.
Shlomit told them that whoever has no one in the army or any direct connection to the hostages, are not directly touched by what is happening.
Try to imagine yourself in a situation where you cannot work and where you do not have any place to relax. At home? And suddenly comes the dreaded knock on the door….but this knock means that soldiers are there for whatever reason. The IDF probably feels the Palestinians should be grateful that they are given the opportunity to spend time at the DCO being questioned.
Again it is a pity we cannot photograph the road work we see on the road. At one stage we saw about eight people deployed in a small space. It seems that they may be building a tunnel as some of the work goes deep into the ground.
