Habla

Is it possible not to explooooooooode?

The barrier which separates people from their lands, which should have been opened at 06:25 was opened only at 08:00!

And in the meantime people gather, wait.

The indifferent voice of bureaucracy of the soldier at the DCO who is heard from the other side of the telephone line, did bring any tidings. There are procedures…

When finally the soldiers arrived the waiting people passed in half an hour. Amongst them there is also is the teachers' minibus. How is it possible to begin studies in such a way?

But the 'right" to be late is reserved for the conquering side only. When a person arrives at 08:30 he hears just one word: 'closed'.

This agricultural checkpoint serves the residents of Arab a-Ramadin al-Janoubi (detached from the West Bank), who pass through it to the West Bank and back to their homes. The opening hours (3 times a day) of this agricultural checkpoint are longer than usual, about an hour (recently shortened to 45 minutes), and are coordinated with the transportation hours of a-Ramadin children studying in the occupied in the West Bank.
