(reporting)6:30, we drive down to Abu Dis , and on our way before we get even to the wall we see a line of detained workers, being checked by two B.P. men. We stop and ask the workers what is going on, but they say the check is fast and they are allowed to continue. At the Pishpash there are no problems. People are let through and no detainies. We drive down to Zitin passage, where there is no activity yet. So we continue to Wadi Nar, to the Container. There is a short line of taxies and a bus. Some are stopped , young men are being checked , but after a short time let to continue. At the exit from Abu Dis , the cars coming out are standing in a longer line, and it takes a while for them to be checked and let to continue, some are stopped for a while and the transit drivers,! (three ) are complaining about the time it takes, but after a few minutes of our arrivals are let through as well . We point out how we and the palestiniens got used to that.We drive back to Jerusalem and join the group that goes to Salem, to plant olive trees. May be we can compensate the Kafr Salem people for all the terrible abuse they endured during this winter.
