(reporting) Sift: 6:15 – 8:15 – On our way we saw the already usual picture of tens of workers on the way to Jerusalem. As we left Nuaman and started going down to the crossing into the West Bank a GP jeep arrived from below, entered into the village, made a round, and left after 5 minutes. We saw another jeep on the security road by the fence. Rolling CP “Mizmoria” – wounded land : We did not see any jeep while we were there. It seemed that now there was no difficulty to go through, and the place turned mainly into a building site. Liberman road and the new CP, which were defined as security ways, and until a few weeks ago only vehicles belonging to security forces were allowed, now Palestinian workers and contractors were moving with bulldozers, tractors and private cars. The works of widening the road on both sides have started near Naman, where they uprooted two rows of olive trees. In their place there were holes and a few cut branches by them. Near Al-Has the working vehicles have already entered the fields and ruined them. Behind it they planted the olive trees which were taken from the other side. They belong to an Al-Has resident, this is what the bulldozer driver told us, a Bedouin from Ramaalla zone. He also told us that almost the whole hill by the road to Nuaman will disappear, because this is where the new CP will be built. Today among the olive trees, almond trees are flowering, probably for the last time. Also the olive plants in the wadi between Um-Tuba and Zur-Bacher will not be saved because the plan is to go on with Liberman road, but maybe they will change the plan.
