At junction of Prophets Street and Route 1, the border police were less provocative, so we went to the Damascus Gate. Damascus Gate – There were 8 border police at the market entrance and 3 visible from on top of thewall. They were hostile towards us. Palestinian stall owners were glad about our presence, and asked that we return. Morning shift needed for 8-10 a.m, afternoon shift 4-7 p.m. Important to have a presence here.
