So Palestinians without permissions were able to pass to Jerusalem.Kalandia was almost the same atmosphere. The caravan for detainees was empty and with open doors. Hundreds of pedestrians passed from north to south easy and fast. Nobody was sent back. Two elderly volunteers were checking politely. Parachute soldiers talked to us and listened with open ears. One (David, 19 years old from Ginossar) told us stories from his last shift in the cold, cold weather and how awful is the situation for everybody.In general: The situation is terrible, but still we never had such an easy shift.
