On the way to the Etzion DCO, we met a kind soldier at the Beit Jala checkpoint
Place:
Etzion DCO
Observers: Shlomit Steinitz, Natanya Ginsburg
We arrived and found two cars in the parking lot, one of whom with a taxi driver. Shlomit photographed the documents inside which dealt with more lands being expropriated from the Palestinians.
We also brought goods to a Palestinian from Sylvia which we handed over at the checkpoint in Beit Jala. The Palestinian was waiting for us but was scared to cross the checkpoint and that he would be shot. Shlomit spoke to the soldier who said that they can pass on foot. He was very pleasant. But I doubt that this is always the case and no wonder the Palestinian was scared to do so. Shlomit thanked the soldier and said he should always act like that.
