A boring morning (long may it last), we arrived as usual a little late (due to the train times) so it was already 'quiet' at Azon Atma.

We met a few young people outside who told us that today was actually OK.

There were no particular hold ups and no one caused any problems.

The road was normal, the roundabout at Ariel is well looked after and pretty, at the villages on the way there are neither deteriorations nor improvements – what is usually closed is closed and what is normally open is open.  There was no particular traffic of military vehicles and not one jeep blocked any of the roads.

There were about 15 cars; they crossed without delay and reasonably quickly.

Huwwara 

Today, and lately, the car park is less full and there are fewer people crossing.

Into town pedestrians enter according to the pace of the buses and outward bound, the road is almost empty.  Very few cross the roadblock.

(According to the people it has been like this since Beit Iba opened, it is simply easier for them without inspection – which is fairly obvious).

The soldiers ignored us, in fact they seemed few, we heard no particularly raised voices, the military policewomen were not shouting.

Even in the queue of outward bound cars (which were also few) everything appeared to flow.
