What was once a bustling area was now almost deserted

Observers: Julia w. Rachel w.

Anata:  Very little has changed since our last visit about a month ago.  Traffic moved quickly, the school buses awaited the children, and the abnormal situation has attained a sense of regularity.

Issawiyya:  No changes.  The exit to Mount Scopus remains blocked.  The other exits are open.

Azariyah:  The decline in the quality of services goes on.  Garbage accumulates; the disrepair in the roads gets worse.

Wadi Naar:  What was once a bustling area was now almost deserted.  The line of shops leading into the checkpoint are shuttered.  No vans waiting for workers.  A new traffic circle has been erected, but the sense of desolation is ever present.
