 17:30  We arrived too late, after the workers had already gone through.  The detainees sits off to the side; we were told he suspected of being someone who's wanted, or who tried to cut the fence.  People going through are inspected while their belongings sit on the ground.

A boy who wanted to cross the barrier that divides his village in order to buy vegetables is also checked.  We promised the photographs wouldn't show the faces of the soldiers from the "special" unit.  We were allowed to enter the village "on our own responsibility."  When we left, we saw through the car window one of the soldiers arguing with the detainee who was seated on the ground.
