Bethlehem (300), Fri 1.11.13, Morning

Many young children passed today with their parents, most of the time with no problems or waiting in line.

At the beginning of the shift quite a long queue was formed, there were only 2 windows open. I asked the security guard to make sure another window is opened. It didn't happen but a commander we know as considerate came out, stood at the gate between the windows and swiftly let the people pass. Within 7 minutes all passed and there was no congestion till the end of the shift.  

An International volunteer reported that there are hardly any people on Bethlehem's side.

Only one young woman, who arrived with her partner, was sent back for lack of documents.
