Morning

The sudden rain left dozens of Palestinian workers without work.

6:30 Azzun Atme: Very few workers waiting for their rides, no one waiting to cross the turnstile. The soldiers say that many of the workers, arriving early, turned back because of the rain. It falls ceaselessly, and we hope that at least the farmers will benefit from it.

Around the agricultural crossing, both the gate and the watchtower are gone.

Shomron Checkpoint: no police checking crossing from Israel into the West Bank.

7:00 Za'tara/Tapuach Junction checkpoint: unmanned.

Yitzhar-Bourin Checkpoints: No visible military presence.

7:35 Beit Fourik checkpoint: unmanned
7:45 Huwwara checkpoint – unmanned, car park deserted.

A soldier seen on the road ascending to Har Beracha settlement.

In the alleys of Huwara village we first saw a military vehicle parked on the side.

8:05 Za'tara Tapuach Junction Checkpoint: unmanned

Shomron checkpoint- traffic flowing.

The highway back into Israel (road 5) is jammed all the way to the coast road for about two hours.
