Morning
Translation: Galia S.
Azzun Atme
10:00 – At this hour there are hardly any people here, but on the other side of the road (where the factories are) we meet people who complain bitterly about the difficulties, especially in the morning. In addition to loss of time, their work suffers and so does the quality of their life. Also, the children's level of anxiety has gone up. We give them the hot-line number and encourage them to call.
The soldiers (Border Police) including the checkpoint commander (a woman soldier) refuse to talk to us. Later their officer arrives and he volunteers very meager information. Nothing that we don't already know.
10:40 - We leave the place.
