For some time a plastic block lies on the western lane forcing the drivers to drive on the lane coming from the east. Apparently, the plastic protects road spikes whose mechanism has been spoilt.

A well at a house located close to Hamra checkpoint was destroyed by the army 3 years ago and filled with garbage and stones. Now the Palestinians have no other option but to buy water and carry it from other places.

This man's house, located close to Hamra checkpoint. The house was demolished by the army 5 years ago and then again 3 years ago. He claims that he owns the land, however, he has no acess to his documents since they are kept in Jordan. Now he is building a new house made of mud bricks.
