The commander of the checkpoint has closed the chechpoint since MachsomWatch members were present at the area.

A deep ditch was digged by the army along all the western side of Alon road into which barbed wire fence was constructed to prevent crossing from west to east. In addition all the roads ( except the ones belonging to the settlements ) leading to Alon road were blocked by either gates or barriers. Some of the gates open 2-3 times a week for a short time.
