On the third Friday of the Ramadan men beyond aged 45-50 and women beyond 40 are allowed to cross to Jerusalem only if they carry a spcial permit. The woman in the picture returns back to join her husband who was denied crossing.

A flying checkoint on Route 60 aimed at cars coming from Tulkarem and Beit Iba ( Nablus) traveling south. A huge traffic jam has been created . About 60 vehicles were forced to wait . -People eating their fast - breaking meal ( Ramadan) sitting on the pavement by their cars.
