This is the backyard of B.'s house. From the backyard one can see the "prayers' road". His plan to build a second floor was authorized by Hebron municipality. But the settlers got furious and are against this plan. The IDF stopped the construction of the second floor.

The checkpoint is almost empty. Because of the Ramadan only a few people are passing quickly in both directions. We noticed a new traffic sign with a picture of an adult and child pointing to the pedestrian lane. The latest addition is the "ERUV" or Sabbath fence" – a string three meters with a piece of cloth hanging above the entrance to the checkpoint marking the area designated for the Sabbath.

A group of Israelis tour in the West Bank, guided by MachsomWatch members. The residents of Elqana settlement did not want a wall in front of their street, so the wall was erected between a Palestinian house and the rest of his village and was surrounded with a fence.
